Every prospective student-athlete is in an individual and unique situation. There are many factors that will go into received a scholarship – grades, accomplishments, weight class, program fit, financial demographics, geographical location, and much more.

There is no sliding scale for a wrestler with B+ Grades, a .750 winning percentage, from the state of Iowa. Furthermore, any site or service who guarantees a scholarship is not being genuine.

What we can guarantee is that we will provide the platform, resources, and roadmap to guide a prospective-student athlete through the recruiting process so they are positioned to make the best of each and every unique opportunity.

Yes. Unless you are 100% against wrestling NCAA Division I, II and/or NAIA then you will have to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. Our resource vault and checklist will direct you to the right place at the proper time in your recruiting process to assist with this. We recommend that when you start your recruiting journey you keep as many options open as you narrow down your search and choices in time.

There are NCAA timelines as well as other associations with strict adherence to recruiting timelines, coach contact, and communication. All of these timelines, rules, and policies can be found in our resource vault and part of your CWR checklist and road map.

College Wrestling Recruiting compiles data and statistics from multiple sources, and when available we use the most current reported statistics when possible. The sources include but are not limited to following associations and organizations:

-National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS)

-National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)

-National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)

-National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)

-National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA)

-United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA)

-California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA)

-Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC)

-National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA)

-U.S. Department of Education (DOE)

-ScholarshipStats.com

Much of the data we make available for subscribers comes directly from the official institution and athletic sites. This is a very tedious and labor-intensive process. Data and statistics are only reported for programs competing at varsity collegiate levels. Though there are many great club and recreational options at institutions, there is either no data or enough data to report reliable statistics.

Most colleges and universities have a fiscal year ending June 30th and beginning July 1st. It is at this time of year that new academic and financial data gets reported and will be updated as it becomes available. It is important to note that college athletics is a revolving door; coaches can be hired, retire, fired, and resign at any time and programs can be cut, added, or change associations or divisions without much notice. As much as we would like to guarantee 100% accuracy, there is always a margin for error. If you have any questions about any of the data or statistics or would like to report a change or inaccuracy, you can email us at:
